I have a federal front colonial. From the first picture you can see its a standard door with brick steps and brick walkway. I had always wanted a front porch. I contacted Mark, the owner of Preserve Services, to give me an estimate for a front porch. The only guidelines I gave him where to make it window to window, have roof and put a railing around it. He came out to look at my house promptly and sent me an estimate promptly. There was a bit of a delay getting the job started which had me a somewhat concerned. I soon found out why this could happen. Once he started my porch, I knew I was his priority. He never rushed me making decisions and gave me ample choices. I can see where this could make a job take longer than initially planned if a homeowner makes a few changes. In my case, the porch was finished in two weeks. Everyone who came to my home was curteous, hard working and pleasant. I can even say I miss their company. Mark gave me referral for a walkway as the old brick walkway did not do the new porch justice. I now have an incredible front porch that I enjoy. I will definitely contact Preserve Services for an future upgrades or repairs to my home. Mark is a man of integrity who does an incredible job. In my opininion, you can’t go wrong hiring Preserve Services for your next project.
I called Mark and told him I hoped to get the house painted within a month, ahead of grad party. He moved around his schedule and made it happen. The crew, led by Brandon, worked very hard, identified areas that needed new wood, and answered all my questions. I made numerous changes to the plans and while the price went up, it was reasonable. Mark answered my questions honestly and offered advice multiple times when I was “stuck”. You can’t go wrong hiring Mark and his team. The work was outstanding.
My wife and I needed our garrison colonial home painted. I contacted Mark. He was out to our house a couple of days later to discuss the project. Mark thoroughly walked the house with me, listened to what we wanted done, and offered several helpful suggestions and pointed out areas of rot to be replaced. Mark gave an itemized written estimate of the cost of the job which was very reasonable. His crew of painters and carpenters were hard working, diligent, friendly and respectful of our property. They did superb quality work and finished in less time than I expected. And best of all, my wife is elated with the result!
Mark and his team went above and beyond to repair, restore and paint our 1901 farmhouse. They were thoughtful, considerate, thorough and great to work with. I highly recommend!And for the record, I only review when I feel strongly 😉
